Eight members from 5 clubs (Newport, Neath, Brecon, Cardiff and Swansea) accepted the Sponsored Sky Trek Charity Day challenge….had a great day out, conquered their fear of heights and one intrepid participant completed all 5 zip wires, after climbing the pole!!! Members of SI Cardiff and Brecon clubs enjoyed an invigorating walk along the Brecon Canal. The weather was dry and not too hot. Local woman completes Everest Adventure in aid of Licking Lassa Fever and British Red Cross

Intrepid local woman, Cherry Wright, 64, has returned home after a challenging expedition to Everest base camp. She tackled freezing temperatures and altitude sickness in order to make the journey 17,600ft above sea level.
